Football

Pearce coached at various Texas high schools, including Waco Connally, Kilgore, Allen, Sherman, and Fort Bend Willowridge before becoming an assistant at Texas A&M University.  He then became the head coach at Stephen F. Austin State University. There, he led the Lumberjacks to impressive achievements, including consecutive top-25 rankings, five winning seasons, and reaching the NCAA playoffs and national semi-finals. He later joined UCLA as an assistant coach, coaching quarterbacks and developing top passers in UCLA history.
